Viewers are likely to be confused by writer-director Brian Ackleys (Uptown) sophomore feature being billed as a science-fiction pic but which rather plays like an American millennial version of Scenes From a Marriage. The acting is bad. I didn't have any idea what to expect from this movie, but I loved it. The series is partially filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
