Victoria was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua, on December 23, 1925. She was both a teacher and principal at St. Joes School near Johnsburg, Wisconsin, and at St. Josephs School in Berlin, Wisconsin. Sister Michaela taught at St. Mary Springs, Fond du Lac, in a total of five different academic disciplines, for 21 years beginning in 1946. As a member of LAMP Catholic Ministries of New York, Sister Patricia was assigned to St. Joseph Parish, Yonkers, New York, where she did Parish Evangelization and was Pastoral Associate. Sister ministered in elementary education for 45 years in Illinois, Indiana, New York, and Wisconsin. She made profession of vows as Sister Michaela in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes on August 15, 1946. Sister is survived by her sisters, Monica (Jack) Roltgen, Susan Braun, Rosie (Bob) Baker, Magdalene Mayer, Kathy Smits; her brothers Frank (Anne) Kramer, Leo (Chris) Kramer; her brothers-in-law John Wible and Peter Woeshnick; several nieces and nephews and their families, and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered. Her family always believed their two angels were watching over them. While deeply proud of her Kansas roots, she loved to travel and visit historical sites across the country often riding for days on a bus to reach her destination. In 2004, Sister Mary Martha moved to Nazareth Court and Center where she resided until the time of her death. Sister Martha received a BS in Education from Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and an MA in Elementary Education and Administration from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. Sister Mary Lee had many talents and interests in life. She was an assistant administrator and teacher at Beloit Catholic High School from 1967-1971. She worked for one year in St. Augustine Parish, Tucson, Arizona, then accepted the position of Consultant for Religious Education in the schools and parish catechetical programs of the Diocese of Joliet, IL., for six years. After her graduation from Decatur Catholic High School in 1954, Mary entered St. Agnes Convent in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Springs Cemetery. For the next twenty-four years, she served as the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Good Samaritan Hospital. Preceding Sister Agnes in death were her parents Michael and Caroline Kircher; her brothers Michael, Joseph, James, and Richard; and her sisters Caroline Pecoroni, Mary Schultz, Theresa Brunner, Dorothy Martino, and Anna May Costello. Mary Agnes was born in Hays, Kansas, on July 19, 1923, to Joseph Doerfler and Agnes Staab Doerfler. When Mary Catherine was very young the family moved to Colorado. Throughout her life in community and in her places of ministry, she was beloved for her gentle, patient spirit and her attention to detailnot resting until the days work was done well. When she retired from the field of education, she volunteered at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital gift shop and as an office assistant for the apartments where she lived. She received her BS in Education from Marian College of Fond du Lac and her MS in Elementary Education from Fordham University, Bronx, NY; she earned numerous post-graduate credits in Administration from Manhattan College, NY, and Catholic University, Washington, DC. Patricia entered St. Agnes Convent in 1950 after graduating from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers, New York. In 1969, she was appointed Apostolic Councilor for the congregation, assisting in educational planning and personnel placement for CSA.
